Change

As a human I gravitate to routine, normalcy, all I know familiar.  But this every day routine tries to extinguish a burning desire to be free, free from the chains of routine, time, normalcy.  All the things that are preached in school, to be on time, have summer off, enjoy only holidays, men and women marry, presidents are one race or one gender, how great our past was - a civil war?, and to believe what others tell or write to you.

Are we, a human race, meant to live a life full of routines? Or do we live a life full of purpose and desires? One will only know when they leave the routine, normal, familiar life.
